About this service
Not My Ex is a personal SMS acknowledgment service. When you send a text message, you receive one short, supportive acknowledgment in reply. It is designed to help a person feel heard in a difficult moment — nothing more.
Not My Ex is not therapy, counseling, coaching, or crisis intervention. It is not a conversational chatbot and does not provide advice. SMS opt-in & consent
By texting Not My Ex, you agree to receive SMS messages from Not My Ex (Digital Social Group LLC). Message & data rates may apply. You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency: one acknowledgment per message you send.

Consent is collected directly when you send your first message, before any acknowledgment is sent. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

How we use your information
We use this information solely to operate the service: to receive your message, select and send an appropriate acknowledgment, maintain a bounded recent-message context, and honor your opt-in/opt-out choices. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Data retention
- Your most recent 5 messages are retained in full detail.
- Older messages are condensed into a short, non-identifying summary (raw text is not retained in the summary).
- Service event logs are retained for approximately 90 days.
Your rights
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us using the details below.
